by Vishwas Shirgaonkar, initially a disciple of Pt. Yeshwantbua Joshi of the Gwalior Gharana and subsequently trained by Pt. Anandrao Limaye and Pt. Ratnakar Pai of the Jaipur/Atrauli Gharana. Vishwas Shirgaonkar's recital will focus on traditional Jaipur/Atrauli repertoire. Tabla and harmonium accompaniment by Jitendra Swain and Chetan Nigam respectively.

Sunit Tandon introduces a live video recording from the Metropolitan Opera House, New York, of the popular melodrama enlivened by some of Verdi’s most memorable music, including the Anvil Chorus. An improbable plot featuring counts and troubadours, a gypsy woman craving vengeance, a stolen baby, long lost brothers and true love thwarted by jealousy, is made vivid and absorbing by the sheer power and beauty of the music.

Vocal rendition of verses & poems of Bhakti poets such as Meerabai, Sant Kabir, Tulsidas, Raidas, Surdas, and Chaitanya Mahapraphu by Sriparna Nandi. The verses are aesthetically composed in various raagas of Hindustani classical music, alive to the ‘rasa’ of the verse and invoking the ‘bhava’ of the raaga.

A concert by the Delhi Genesis Choir, conducted by Aching Shaiza. A Valentine’s Day Special for 16 yrs & above- Selection of songs from across ages and genres—classical, jazz, musical theatre, rock and pop. Music that promotes love, peace and harmony in these troubled times.
