Book Discussion. "Partitioned Freedom", authored by Dr Ram Madhav, President, India Foundation. The book delves into the tragic history of the partition of India, a cataclysmic event which could not be averted. Tracing the history of the colonial period from the partition of Bengal province in 1905 to the eventual partition of India, the book explores the driving forces and agents responsible for India\'s partition. Prof. Raghuvendra Tanwar, Chairman, Indian Council of Historical Research, Amb. Bhaswati Mukherjee, President, India Habitat Centre, and Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain, Member, National Disaster Management Authority, will discuss the book with the author.
