IHC Lok Sangeet Sammelan. An evening of Bihu Geet, Dholbadon, Tokari Geet, Bagurumba Geet, Ojapali Geet and Gualparia Geet by folk ensemble - Priyanki Saikia, Mukunda Madhob Bora, Mrinmoy Borah, Manashi Boruah Bora.

Folk music of Assam reflects the vibrant diversity and rich cultural history of Assam. The themes of the songs are deeply rooted in the natural surroundings and cultural ethos of the Brahmaputra valley.

Featuring on both evenings, Tanishque Jarial, vocalist, composer, and co-founder of the cross-fusion band 'Pakshee', along with The Kirori Mal Music Society, will captivate with a spirited folk performance, honouring the rich legacy of folk music.
